Have you ever had some one to request, or warn, you to check your shoes or boots (for feces, gum, mud, etc.) before entering their house? I have on several occasions. This may be an occupational hazard or it may be that I just look like the type of person that routinely steps in feces, gum, or mud. |

Valentine’s Day |

February is the shortest month of the year and packs as much as possible in the time allowed.
Black history month is celebrated as well as Charles Dickens day. February 2nd is Groundhog Day and Mardi Gras is the big happening in New Orleans. |

Auld Lang Syne |

For me the coming of January is similar to spring cleaning. It’s a time to throw out the old and start fresh and new. I don’t make the traditional list of resolutions (mostly because I seem to have broken everyone of them by March), but I do try not to repeat mistakes made in previous years. I always start off each year in the same way. Attending the largest party I can find with all of my friends! |

Brush up on your best Irish accent, bust out the shamrock shaped glasses and get ready to head to Savannah for the biggest celebration of the year. |
